Hand-operated, vice-mounted machine for internal and external skiving. Suitable for fabric braid, wire braid and multi-spiral hose applications up to 2".
External mandrels can be ordered individually or in a set of 7 or 9.
The hand skiver is suplied complete with one cutting blade for external skiving. A spare blade can be ordered separately if required.
Mandrels for internal skiving can be ordered individually.
Please note when ordering external mandrels, the date when the hand skiving tool was manufactured to determine what mandrel to order.
Each internal mandrels has its own blade fitted - spare blades for internal mandrels are available on request.
Capacity:
Fully adjustable for varying diameters and lengths on hose from 1/4" - 2" diameter bore.
Please note that spare blades require 3 grub screws each (2 for 1/4" & 3/8") and need to be ordered separately. Please see the Grub Screw Requirement Table in Technical Details section.
