Hi-Line HF Series filters for compressed air includes four different filtration grades and housing sizes from 1/4" up to 3" BSP covering flow ranges 20 to 1700 cfm.
Grade 2 - particle removal to 3 micron
Grade 3 - Oil removal to 0.5 mg/m3 and particle removal to 1 micron
Grade 4 - Oil removal to 0.01 mg/m3 and particle removal to 0.01 micron
Grade 5 - Activated carbon filter - oil removal down to 0.003 mg/m3
ISO 8573.1 Compressed air standards:
Grade 2 - particles class 3
Grade 3 - particles class 2, oil class 3
Grade 4 - particles class 1, oil class 1
Grade 5 - oil class 1
Direction of flow - there is a notch in the filter head next to the inlet port.
A filter is supplied complete with element. Spare elements can be ordered separately - see related products section.
A differential pressure gauge can be ordered separately. This lets you know when the filter element needs to be replaced.
Wall mount brackets are available for filters up to housing size HF500.
The filter elements in this range are manufactured with polished aluminium end caps which are stronger and better suited to applications with elevated temperatures. They also utilise "pleated" filter media which gives a longer service life and a lower pressure drop which saves energy.
The flow figures given in the table below are for 7 bar operating pressure. For other operating pressures a correction factor should be applied - see data sheet for further information.
A fridge dryer is normally fitted with a pre filter and an after filter. For normal applications use a grade 3 pre filter and grade 4 after filter. For applications where there is a heavy condensate load present consider using a grade 2 pre filter as a bulk separation unit (in addition to the grade 3).
All filter housings are CE marked and PED compliant.
All sizes and grades of filter are normally available from UK stock on short lead times.
