Glossary of Terms
Oil Water SeparatorA device for separating the mixture of oil and water found in condensate discharged from a compressed air system. Condensate is hazardous waste and must be disposed of as such which is expensive. By treating the condensate with an Oil Water Separator, the water part can be discharged into thedrainage system so that only the oil parts needs to be disposed of as hazardous waste. |
