Glossary of Terms
Membrane DryerA device for drying compressed air. The wet compressed air is passed through a bundle of membrane tubes and the moisture permeates through the wall of the tubes and is vented to atmosphere. This reduces the water content of the air within the tubes and hence reduced its dew point. |
