Belt drive, receiver mounted air compressor with cast iron 3 cylinder single stage pump. At just 850 RPM this is a slow running machine which leads to quieter operation and longer life. It also has higher output than normal for a 3.0HP compressor.
The motor on the single phase version is fitted with both a start and run capacitor for improved starting torque.
The differential between the cut in and cut out pressure on the pressure switch is fixed - approximately 30 psi.
