C812 Series MacDonald Style Bayonet Coupling. This is a straight through coupling suitable for high pressure compressed air and inert gas systems. Widely used in oil refineries, chemical plants and general engineering these couplings prioritise safety through quick and secure connections effectively reducing the risk of accidental disconnection.
Coupling half is available with a male BSPT thread (OF), Female BSPP thread (IF) or a hosetail (HF).
Plug half is similarly available with male BSPT thread (OM), Female BSPP thread (IM) or a hosetail (HM).
The locking head is universal to all sizes so any size or style of coupling with fit with any plug.
Made from Zinc plated mild steel this range is fitted with an EPDM seal as standard (NBR & Viton available on request).
To make a connection push the coupling and plug together. Then turn the plug through 90 degrees. The sleeve then snaps into position locking the two halves making it almost impossible to disconnect unintentionally.
