PCL 100 series quick release couplings and adaptors for compressed air offer high flow rates and are widely use in garage, automotive and industrial applications. They are designed for larger air tools with higher air consumption.
The Sleeve on the PCL 100 coupling is marked "M100 Coupling - Series 326" and "Patent No 995589".
This coupling is a 'single shut off' type which means that when the coupling and plug are separated the air in the plug side is vented to atmosphere. The coupling should always be fitted on the upstream side of the air flow.
The coupling incorporates a hardened steel shoulder which prevents accidental disconnection as well as a swivel feature which prevents kinking of the hose.
The couplings are available with 3/8" & 1/2" BSP threads male and female. The plug (or adaptor) can be ordered with BSP male or female thread or hosetail 3/8" & 1/2" (10mm & 13mm).
